The JCAMBELL Park is located in Barangay Upper Pula, Asipulo, about an hour from Lagawe, the capital of Ifugao Province. The Park was formally inaugurated on June 3, 2007 with a tree-planting ceremony.
Its terrain is mountainous and offers the visitor adventure hikes through falls, rivers, streams and rice terraces. Fresh mountain air and scenic views are in abundance.
Camping | The park has camping sites for groups, weekend travelers and organizations. Camp sheds patterned after the traditional Ifugao house found in Asipulo will soon be added in some camping areas.
Trekking and Hiking | The Park itself is a few meters below the peak of Mt. Situ (Mt. C-2) in Pula and is accessible by trekking and hiking. The visitor goes through pocket farming communities, natural water systems like rivers and falls, and smaller rice terraces and coffee trees on their way to the Park.
Historical Sites | Ifugao Province is witness to many World War II activities, as many American missionaries settled in the pre-war years and which, in turn, attracted the occupying Japanese forces, taking control of the province. Visits to historical sites within and around JCAMPBELL Park may be arranged with the administration.
Guides and Fees | Knowledgeable local guides are available for all visitors to the JCAMPBELL Park. Please make arrangements with the JCAMPBELL Park Administration.
